All of our loose flour is strictly limited to a maximum combined total weight across all flour products of 3kg per customer.
Shipton Mill Plain flour is a lower protein flour blended so it is “all purpose” for all household baking needs. Usually used for cakes and pastries and for thickening gravy, sauces such as béchamel, desserts and puddings. Nevertheless, in the right hands, good bread can be made from plain flour, but for the best results, bread flour recommended. Always good to have in the pantry.
